As a kid, my granddad’s garage was my stage for tales of fishing expeditions and vintage airplanes. I would constantly pester him about the World War II snapshots on the wall – those frozen slivers of history. He was always around the family shenanigans, same camera, always at the ready! Even then, he was the silent documentarian, our cherished moments forever etched onto 35mm film.
After my Grandaddy’s passing, I keenly felt the absence of that shutter. That’s when it hit me one day in the kitchen: the power of a photograph. That very essence, that raw emotion.
My journey began in the sun-drenched isles of Key West, Florida, where my lens captured real estate marvels and candid slices of life for the Florida Keys News Bureau and Keys Weekly. Here, I learned the art of storytelling, where the stark truth and good light can make or break a story! With my roots guiding me, it was second nature to transition to weddings when I learned about wedding photojournalism.

I am constantly leveling up my skills every year with continuing education; it’s been a wild 9+ years of pushing boundaries, and boy, does it show!
