Carleigh and Rob traveled all the way from Summerland Key to Key West for their sun-filled intimate waterfront wedding. Yes that is a joke. But doesnt 25 miles classify it as some sort of travel wedding? A light ocean breeze filled the air during the waterfront wedding onsite of their
Hyatt Key West Wedding. Carleigh snuck up on Rob during their first look, but it was foiled by Rob’s cat like reflexes.
Carleigh looked relaxed and pure in a chiffon strapless gown from Bill Levkoff Strapless Gown with a sweetheart neckline. Rob kept it cool in some tropical Tommy Bahama linen. Carleigh was given classic hair and makeup styled by
Casa Salon. The couple shared their first kiss as husband and wife in the presence of 75 of their closest friends and family. The couple enjoyed a private dance at sunset on the docks overlooking the Gulf of Mexico and their waterfront wedding venue. Guests wrote warm wishes for the couple on a model ships sail. The mother of the groom created the centerpieces of fresh orchids, and starfish. Mixed flavored and floral pipped cupcakes served alongside the wedding cake. It even had a special cake topper dedicated to their love of fishing.
I have grown to become friends with these two after the wedding as we live in the same area. We all share a love of the outdoors and I think that is what helped us mesh. Its always a pleasure to get to know a new couple. Meet their family, and just share in the love that is surrounding you. This wedding was not missing any of that. It was joyous, classy, and relaxed. A great experience and success for my first waterfront wedding at the Hyatt Key West. Enjoy!
