Fort Zachary Taylor is a favorite place of mine. I have had many weddings at Fort Zach, but this was my first time at this particular location at the park. Say Yes Key West did a great job of setting up the ceremony site. It was tucked away in a very intimate and private area of the park. The light was perfect and really provided a secluded beach setting. This area in particular is great for couples shots, especially at sunset. I think I am going to be recommending this particular site to my future couples. Here is a sneak peek of their day. Please enjoy.
How the couple met?
– We met in high school, but did not like one another very much even though we were in concert and marching band together. In college, we reconnected as friends and realized that we were perfect for one another. We began dating, while attending colleges 2.5 hours apart. It was difficult at times to be so far apart, but we visited each other as much as possible and talked on the phone almost every night. When the bride was accepted to law school, we moved to Orlando together and adopted two crazy kitties (Frank and Lucy), who now rule our lives. We got engaged a few years later. We will celebrate nine years together just two days before our wedding!

Why Freas Photography? –
We like your use of surrounding natural and historical elements in your photos. Photos with historical significance as well as photos in nature are something we would like to capture. We like documentary style photographs, but are open to a style that works best for the group.
