What is a venue that is light and airy, and has lots of flowers. That is a question this Key West Wedding Photographer gets asked quite a bit. Key West is full of tropical plants, botanicals, and color. One place that fits the bill is the Key West Garden Club, a great place to have your destination wedding in Key West.
Tracey and Joe decided upon the Garden Club, the same place that Joe proposed, due to the meaning it had for the two of them. The trails and trees of the garden resembled what Tracey wanted for her day, and it also gave them the privacy they seeked. Tucked behind the walls of the historic Fort West Martello, was the union of these two.
Tracey was a very relaxed bride. Studio Marie Pierre had her looking stunning, and her calmness really helped bring out the light and airy feeling in my wedding photography that I strive for. Always a plus for a Key West Wedding Photographer. We were able to use the foliage of Parrot Key Resort (great place for a bride to get ready) to accent her dress and her light complexion. Tracey went for the comfortable, relaxed look with her strapless dress which had a leaf lace overlay. The vintage white color really popped during the golden hour couples photos.
Simply You Weddings provided day of planning and coordination services and setup the area with Pom-Poms and a Chandelier suspended in the air. Great Events provided a buffet of local flavors and desserts. Kiss Me Entertainment provided the ceremony sound and then kept the group dancing all night.
The day was highlighted by personally written vows to one another, an amazing custom wedding band that Joe picked out for Tracey, the breaking of the chattah, and a re-enactment of how he proposed. They ended the night in the traditional Hora dance which was a highlight of the reception. Another happy couple for this Key West Wedding Photographer.
