Fort Zachary engagement’s are special to me. Its one of my favorite places in Key West, and many couples feel the same way. So naturally I like to take couples to Fort Zachary for engagement sessions. Sophie and Shaun are a couple of outdoors loving people, so Fort Zachary was perfect for the two of them. They share a love for the water, their dog Moose, and fly-fishing together.

We had been trying to plan this shoot for some time. First it was weather, then a hurricane, but then it all came together. Just a few days after Fort Zachary Taylor opened back up to the public, we were there enjoying it all to ourselves. Sophie had contacted me months prior and just like the previous engagement session that is on the blog, we had some scheduling issues. It’s funny how when Key West locals contact me about an engagement session, we always end up rescheduling multiple times, and then we get treated with some great weather. Sophie and Shaun will be getting married in Alaska in the summer, and its going to be a good one! What an awesome couple, and two of the nicest people you will ever meet.
