Florida Keys Wedding – Hemingway Home – Camille + Adam
One of the most important requests I ask of my couples is that they open up to me. Spend some time with me, and I promise you will feel comfortable on your wedding day. No matter how many cameras are in your face (or iPhones lol)! Your images will be more genuine, and unique. Images that show a couple, their relationship, and what bonds them, is what I want to capture and create. This was also important to Camille and Adam.
The two of them booked me for their engagement photos in 2017 when they were down checking out venues. We took this time to chat, laugh, and create some stunning images. I could instantly see the chemistry between the two of them. They just had this glow around them when they got lost in each other. It was a very intimate session. We bounced around Key West and hit up many of the local hotspots, but took a more engaged approach to them. Instead of the normal posey images they saw on their research, we made it more about them and the experience.
Their Florida Keys wedding took place in Key West, and the two of them picked the historical Ernest Hemingway Home for their venue. The aesthetics of the home helped with Camille’s vintage theme. The florals were on point, with colors that provided a perfect contrast with the surroundings. It was loungy, timeless, and full of laughter. The two of them surprised their guests with a choreographed first dance, which also led to the same for the parent dances. The booze was flowing, their were guest DJ spots, and plenty of photobooth shenanigans.
