12 SPECTACULAR NC MOUNTAIN WEDDING VENUES
IN WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA

North Carolina is home to some of the most romantic mountain wedding venues and the most outstanding panoramic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Its why so many couples have destination weddings in western North Carolina, tucked into the Appalachian Mountains.  I hope that this blog post helps you in your wedding planning.

Whether you’re just looking for a fantastic outdoor location to host your ceremony of virtually any size, or you’re the kind of couple whose love comes alive in nature: Asheville and Glenville, North Carolina are absolutely the location for you.

For couples and out of town guests, there are several nc mountain wedding venues which offer luxury accommodations onsite.

Photographing weddings in mountain wedding venue locations such as these allow me to create brilliant portraits set in the most picturesque settings like the Blue Ridge Parkway, which are perfect for canvas and fine art prints. Cinematic views during your reception, or just during your formal portraits, these are some of my favorite wedding venues. Its all about having an intimate wedding at a picturesque venue. If you’re looking to walk among the mountain views and say “I do” under long stretches of blue skies, I’m totally in, and I’d love to chat with you more about your wedding day vision.

For this post we will outline mountain wedding venues that are venues in North Carolina that overlook the Blue Ridge, Appalachian Mountains or Great Smokey Mountains. Most of these mountain wedding venue locations are just outside of Asheville, NC.  For venues located in downtown Asheville, NC check out my post on Downtown Asheville Wedding venues.

NC Mountain Wedding Venues

The Ridge Asheville. Spanish and French charm of the Chateau and breathtaking views of the mountains, The Ridge is the hottest and newest wedding venue in Asheville.

Guests can enjoy a cocktail hour at The Residence, followed by a reception at The Chateau, made perfect by onsite planning professionals. This is one great outdoor wedding venue just North of downtown Asheville.

With its wood ceiling and stunning crystal chandelier, the Chateau is a little shabby and a lot of chic, while The Venue offers couples a stylish industrial vibe with exposed brick and pipes. A venue that can host your dream wedding. The wedding party can get ready for the day at the gorgeous Residence with a wraparound porch, and couples can have their honeymoon night there as well.
