Factors to consider when choosing a mountain wedding venue

Choosing the right mountain wedding venue is crucial to ensure a seamless and memorable experience. Here are some factors to consider when making your decision.

Accessibility: Consider the accessibility of the venue, especially if you have guests with mobility issues. Ensure that the venue provides adequate transportation options and accommodations for all attendees.

Weather: Mountain weather can be unpredictable, so it’s essential to choose a venue that offers indoor alternatives or backup plans in case of inclement weather. This will ensure that your wedding day goes smoothly, regardless of the forecast.

Capacity and Accommodations: Determine the number of guests you plan to invite and ensure that the venue can comfortably accommodate them. Additionally, check if the venue offers onsite accommodations or if there are nearby lodging options for your guests.

The property is gorgeous and has west-facing mountain views if you want to get married outdoors on their deck with seating for 200. The bar and lounge have vaulted ceilings and a grand stone fireplace with a great rustic ambiance for smaller events or cocktail reception.

The Main Hall has 84 feet of windows overlooking the mountains and is where guests are seated for dinner, and the dancing events can happen. The decor is both upscale but adds in some charm with Edison light chandeliers.

They also have a mezzanine which can be used as an alternate indoor location for ceremonies or an overflow seating area or for a place for kids to play games during the reception. They include this space with the rental fee, which is really nice!

The Crest Pavilion has a beautifully maintained lawn area that can seat up to 365 and a huge outdoor Rock Terrace with fireplaces and seating to enjoy the views. The indoor pavilion is over 7,000 square feet and is entirely glass-encased, with mountain views.
