Julia and John have a group of friends and family that really love to have a throw down! Put a live band on stage, and this group will not leave the dance floor all night. This day was full of fun and emotions!
The wedding ceremony and reception both took place at the Crest Pavilion which sits on Crest Mountain. If you notice the previous blog post, you will see that I was also there the night before. Two weddings in one weekend at the same venue! It has a back deck that is perfect for sunset, and then a field out front that overlooks downtown Asheville. It’s one of the venues I am a preferred vendor at, and you can read more about it here on my wedding venue guide.
This ceremony of the wedding was personal, and the reception was non-stop dancing. Julia and John spent the whole night on the floor, so it was easy to grab them for photos throughout the night. Its always nice when you dont have to walk all over the venue looking for the couple. As I told them, if they were on the dance floor, then everyone else will be there. Remember that couples! You drive the energy!
They ended the night with a tassle send off, and then the next morning I meet them for a Bluegrass Brunch in downtown Asheville at Jack of the Wood.
Pleasure working with everyone. Please enjoy this brief look into this memorable Asheville wedding at Crest Pavilion. If you are planning to get married in Asheville, North Carolina and looking for a wedding photographer, visit my contact page and send me an email.
