The Crest feels like a private resort tucked away in the mountains just four miles from downtown Asheville. The Crest is an excellent choice for people with an extensive guest list; it can accommodate up to 320 guests in The Main Hall and as many as 600 in their Pavillion.

The property is gorgeous and has west-facing mountain views if you want to get married outdoors on their deck with seating for 200. The bar and lounge have vaulted ceilings and a grand stone fireplace with a great rustic ambiance for smaller events or cocktail reception.

The Main Hall has 84 feet of windows overlooking the mountains and is where guests are seated for dinner, and the dancing events can happen. The decor is both upscale but adds in some charm with Edison light chandeliers.

They also have a mezzanine which can be used as an alternate indoor location for ceremonies or an overflow seating area or for a place for kids to play games during the reception. They include this space with the rental fee, which is really nice!

The Crest Pavilion has a beautifully maintained lawn area that can seat up to 365 and a huge outdoor Rock Terrace with fireplaces and seating to enjoy the views. The indoor pavilion is over 7,000 square feet and is entirely glass-encased, with mountain views. The ceiling is impressive at night, as they have fully installed twinkle lights, so it feels like you are under the stars.

They also have a charming gazebo on-site nestled in a natural amphitheater with great views of downtown and Grove Park.  So many different locations on one property make the Crest a great choice!

It’s crazy to me that this place is located just a mile from downtown Asheville; you’ll feel like you were whisked away to Victorian England.  This 1920’s manor is elegant and intimate and is just a gorgeous property, all with a weathered stone exterior.

They have a beautiful garden area that can seat about 100 for your ceremony and the same for the indoor ballroom for dining. If you want an outdoor wedding, add in the tented option, and you’ve got a killer garden party wedding for 200 right on site.

If the weather is an issue, you can also get married indoors in the Great Room, Study, or the Foyers, which is also a good option if you’re having a small wedding or an elopement. Photo opportunities are endless.

From the lens of a photographer, Highland Brewing Company in Asheville, North Carolina, presents an unparalleled canvas for capturing the essence of your wedding day. The blend of polished industrial chic with the warm, intimate atmosphere of their event spaces creates a backdrop that is as unique as your love story. Nestled in the heart of Asheville, Hi-Wire Brewing’s Event Space emerges as a sanctuary where every snapshot tells a story, a place where the palpable excitement of new beginnings blends seamlessly with the rustic charm and industrial elegance of the venue. Through my lens, the 2,500 square foot banquet room transforms into a stage set for romance and celebration, where the customizable lighting casts an ethereal glow on joyous moments, and the comprehensive audio-visual setup ensures that every speech, every toast, resonates not just through the space, but within the hearts of all present. The private draft bar, with its seven taps, pours not just artisanal brews, but also serves as a gathering point, inviting candid moments ripe for capture. The beauty suite, with its velvet lounge and dressing spaces, provides an intimate backdrop for those quiet, introspective moments before the ceremony. And as the evening unfolds, the versatility of the space, from the dimmable string lighting to the options for decor that truly make it your own, allows me, as a photographer, to craft a narrative so vivid, so rich, that it feels like reliving the day with every viewed photograph. Hosting an event here means not just celebrating a special day but immortalizing it in the warmth and uniqueness that Hi-Wire Brewing’s Event Space offers, making it a dream venue for both couples and a photographer keen on capturing the essence of authentic moments and memories.

Found The Venue For Your Wedding?

This space is a perfect Asheville wedding venue if you have a smaller wedding or a micro wedding and you love the idea of being in an upscale space with outdoor access. This wedding venue located right in downtown Asheville is tucked away in an almost secret location, a real hidden gem for an event space in the middle of downtown.

Tucked between some shops, you’ll see a black metal gate, you go up a few steps, and boom, you’re transported into a quiet, elegant courtyard. You can see immediately how great it would be to spend time with closest friends and family and get married in this space. They also have a small dining room that boasts the exposed brick from the original 1930’s construction.

This turn-of-the-century wedding venue is right downtown, just across from Pack Park. If you’re looking indoor venues with space that has an old-world feeling with modern amenities, then you definitely want to check this place out!

The vibe here, to me, feels almost prohibition-era. Tall vaulted ceilings and exposed wood beams give it a feel like even though it’s been updated, you can imagine the swinging parties of past weddings that must have happened here!

I love the exposed brick and the wall of windows along the ballroom, and there’s plenty of room for a party; this venue seats up to 180 for dinner. We can head outside around the block for industrial, architectural-type photos and go to the park to get that outdoor-ambient feel. You really don’t have to go far to get a variety of places to shoot.

The staff is super responsive and hands-on, they have a full-service bar and they are always willing to help you with any sort of requests you have for planning, food, or anything else you can think of.  Very flexible with their clients!
