Looking for the Best Wedding Photographer in Asheville, NC?

Asheville is one of the nation’s premier wedding destinations thanks in large part to the majestic mountains and the photographic opportunities they create. If ever there was a time to invest in yourself it’s your wedding, because it only happens once, and you’ve earned it. You’ve agonized over choosing the right venue, dress, catering, and decorations, so you deserve one of the top wedding photographers in Asheville to take stunning photos of it all so you can remember your wedding in detail.

When you work with me, not only are you getting a local who appreciates and loves to photograph the beauty of the western North Carolina Mountains, but you’re getting a photographer who puts couples and guests at ease for natural, organic photographs. Many couples who come to me say they feel awkward in front of the camera, but, as my reviews attest, they’re amazed at how relaxed I help them feel and how great they look in their pictures.

Why Hire Me as Your Asheville NC Wedding Photographer?

Your love story is unlike any other, just like the unique connection between you and your spouse and the story of your relationship. The approach I take at a wedding is to view the moments for what they are: seeing the very best of humanity. The emotions, the love, the support from friends and family…all of these immaterial, fantastical facets of human life are presented at a wedding, and it’s my job to relay what is given to me back to those people in a way that captures those precious concepts.”

Capturing a stunning natural image—a sunset, a night sky—makes it easy to evoke emotional elements. Those moments are already breathtaking from nearly any angle. I aim to bring that same breathtaking magic to wedding photography. Weddings are emotionally beautiful: an incredible expression of love, not only between two individuals but the families and guests as well. Weddings show affection, commitment, and trust, all arrayed against the stunning love between the happy couple.

For every shot, I aim to take those incredible emotions and convey them through a visual format. In so many ways, weddings are so much more than the visual. However, I take those emotional, truthfully lived moments and express them in a physical, tangible way that you and your loved ones can view long after the ceremony ends.

Are We a Good Fit?

The best way to know if we’re a good fit for your wedding is to have a quick call on the phone, but here’s some info to help.

Style:

I have a photojournalistic style, meaning I take organic, emotive, timeless pictures and do less of the traditional posing. We will of course do some posing to get family and wedding party photos, but I focus on the candid moments and capturing who you are, not just what you look like. I help you feel relaxed in front of the camera so your images are full of the real emotions you’re experiencing during your wedding and reception.

Customer Service:

Knowing how monumentally important your wedding day is, I prefer to get to know you ahead of time so I can learn about your personalities and preferences, build rapport, and learn what’s most important to you. Before taking any actual pictures, I like to take some time to address any concerns you might have and know that all details are accounted for. Also, if you have any wedding photography questions you can’t find the answer to online, just ask me!

Personality:

It’s common to feel some nerves on your wedding day, especially when you know you’ll be photographed. But meshing with clients and helping you feel relaxed is one of the areas I excel in (just look at my reviews!). I make it a point to get to know my clients well so they’ll be as comfortable as possible. Through phone calls, text messages, and meeting in person, when your wedding day finally arrives I’ll be as familiar as an old friend.-
