Postcard Inn at Holiday Isle is a great destination wedding location. A nice size resort, with everything you need close by, and a great landscape to work with. All you need is a fun loving couple and their closest friends and family. With that you get a recipe for an awesome laughter filled destination wedding in the Florida Keys.
Postcard Inn has this relaxed fun feel to it.. Something beachy, relaxed. Grant was decked out in a swagger suit from Suit Supply, and his groomsmen matched. Olivia looked stunning in another designer favorite Maggie Sottero, in a tulle sheath gown, accented with dainty lace appliqués on the bodice and a delicate Swarovski crystal waist. It was finished with sweetheart neckline and corset back closure–champagne in color.
The reception had a fun, refined, and warm feeling to it. Intimate, yet looking to rage at any moment. Olivia’s mom couldn’t hide her excitement for her daughter with a little footloose action down the aisle. Grant and Olivia both wrote their own vows, which had a few of us teary eyed. This is why I love weddings. The raw emotion that you get to witness is just addictive.
We were not greeted by the sun most of the day, but right at sunset it decided to say hello for a brief moment. Sunset couples photos may not always be sunny, but it’s more about the experience and adventure to chase it. The toasts were full of ribbing, love. The cake, it speaks for itself. Another solid day of life, love, and laughter!
