Destination Engagement Session
Dry Tortugas National Park and Fort Jefferson

You are newly engaged.  You’re starting to look around at venues and locations.  You decide on Key West.  After you get the venue secured what is the next thing that comes to mind?  Photography, at least that is my hope.  Then the next thing you look at is the Key West wedding photography prices.  What does each photographer offer in their packages?

I always offer a complimentary engagement session in my full coverage packages.  I feel like it gives me an edge in a couple of ways.  When someone is looking up Key West wedding photography prices, they get an added bonus with me.  I use these sessions to get to know my couple, let them cut loose, and look at what angles work the best for them, and prep for the big day!

Katherine and Oscar came to me via a referral from one of their friends whose wedding I am also shooting.  Two of the nicest people I think I have ever met in my life.  Genuine, full of laughter and lovers of the Florida Keys.  My kind of people.  They had already had their engagement photos done, so they still took advantage of the session that I offer in my Key West wedding photography prices.  They wanted to do something different.  Something that you don’t normally see.  Something EPIC!

I met Oscar and Katherine at the Marina before sunrise on a Sunday.  We stocked the boat with supplies, spearguns, and a lot of stoke.  Now if you think I got some epic speargun engagement ideas, thats for the next time we go.  This was about the two of them.

Oscar captained the boat for 75 miles to the West of Key West.  Away from civilization, a mentality that I think everyone should experience.  Its soothing for the soul and will awaken a spirit you have never felt.  That energy continued to build the closer we got.  When the Loggerhead Key Lighthouse started coming into view, the energy level massively increased.  We beached the boat and the rest is image history.
