Being a Key West Wedding Photographer you get to meet people from all over the world. Gloria and Marco are Italians who live in Scotland currently. They met at a local gym where the she was working as a receptionist, the groom was a gym member. They had friends in common that made them meet at the gym and they fell in love, simple as that. So all those stories about it being difficult to meet someone at the gym can now be laid to rest. The love these two share is living proof! They have been together for 6 years prior to the wedding, and it was apparent for Gloria’s love of music during the reception.

“The groom loves rock music and so do I, His favorite band his AC/DC which I don’t like at all and my favorite band is MUSE, We both like Paolo Nutini but we enjoy any kind of music really. We particularly like progressive rock from the ‘70s and I am also keen on country music, this is probably linked with my passion for Horse Back Riding”

They opted for a live musician who had the small and intimate setting up dancing, singing, and even forming a congo line.

The ceremony was a very personal one. Gloria’s love of roses was seen throughout the day, with a surprise at the end of the wedding. Her wedding dress was: An Enzoani with a sweetheart neckline, A-line with corset, little diamante detail on the waistline and chiffon organza skirt, very high heels designed by Badgley Mischka and no veil. The groom was styled in Hugo Boss.

The personal touches, the ease of photos due to their affection for one another, and the overall feeling of family made this a highlight wedding for me for the year. You always look for couples that welcome you in to their family, and you feel a part of them for the day. This Key West Wedding Photographer wishes them many years of happiness and cant wait to hang out with them when they retire and live on a boat here in the Florida Keys.

PLANNING A KEY WEST WEDDING? HERE'S WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW TO GET YOUR MARRIAGE LICENSE:

Bring a photo ID (passport/driver’s license).
Pay a fee of $93.50.
If you’re a non-resident, there’s no waiting period. Residents must wait three days.
Both parties need to be at least 18 years old.
If applicable, be ready to share the date of a divorce or death of a spouse.
No blood test is required.
You can get your marriage license from any county in Florida.
Remember: there might be additional restrictions or requirements. Contact the Monroe County Government office if you have questions: 305-292-3550.
