Through photojournalism, I tell the story of your relationship against the beautiful and dramatic backdrops of the Western North Carolina mountains. Whether you want your engagement photographed at the bottom of a waterfall, mountain cliff at sunset, or amongst the pines, I’ll capture your love in breathtaking fashion.

By having an engagement photography session, you’ll get to see what your professional pictures look like and learn what to expect for your wedding photography session. Looking at galleries and portfolios is helpful to get an idea of how your wedding pictures will look, but the only real way to know how yours will turn out is to have them taken. Your engagement photoshoot will give you a preview of what to expect on your wedding day and help you decide which styles and poses you want for your wedding photos.
An engagement photo session also provides a great opportunity to get to know your photographer – me! Through the engagement photoshoot, we’ll get to know each other and build rapport months before the wedding. The engagement photo session will also help me become more familiar with you and your spouse-to-be, which helps me capture wedding day moments that are unique to the two of you. When the wedding day arrives, we’ll have already worked together in-person, so you’ll be comfortable around me and my camera.
You get the chance to see what your hair and makeup will look like! A great way to remove all the guesswork about how you’ll look is to have your hair and makeup done during your engagement photoshoot. You’ll be able to see how you look in your chosen style and decide if you’d like to make any hair and makeup changes before your wedding day.
First and foremost, capturing what makes your relationship so special is all about getting to know who you are as a couple. We’ll have a complimentary video consultation so we can talk about your vision for your big day. I want to hear about your ideas, preferences, concerns, and why you’re excited! I can answer any questions you may have about locations, venues, and other details so you can plan things out exactly the way you want.
This is the fun part! By the time your big day arrives, we will have had so many exchanges everything will be planned out. There won’t be any surprises and things run smoothly. Your elopement in the Western North Carolina Mountains will be everything you dreamt of, with your amazing portraits to immortalize the experience.
After editing and curating a gorgeous collection of photos that perfectly capture the highlights of the day, all will be available online so that you can have them printed wherever and however you like.
ADVENTUROUS PHOTOGRAPHY FOR WILD HEARTS
The image count is completely dependent on the unique proceedings of each elopement. My goal is always to represent your elopement as authentically as possible through dynamic imagery. On average, assuming you plan to engage in all the traditional customs, I typically deliver around 60-80 images every hour I cover your wedding.
I aim to get all your images edited and delivered to you as quickly as possible while sticking to the gold standard my clients expect from me. Two weeks after we say goodbye we’ll have Sneak Peeks ready for you to look over. We strive to have all your images available in a curated gallery online 45 days after the wedding at the latest.
All of your images are YOURS to keep as soon as I deliver them to you at no charge! After receiving your images in gallery form, you can download them and have them printed by whoever you like! Your gallery will also include a few printing lab recommendations as well.
