Jeannie and Trevors wedding at Little Palm Island Resort

A Florida Keys wedding ceremony set up on the beach.

There are so many places in the Florida Keys to get married. You have hotels, resorts, private homes AND private islands!!! When you look for a Key West wedding photographer, you look at how they bring the landscapes into their photography. An appreciation for their surroundings if you will. They highlight why they chose the Florida Keys as their base of operation. When its Little Palm Island wedding, it steps your game up.

Jeannie and Trevor met at Little Palm Island, so why not celebrate your union of marriage at the same place. It makes it much more personal as a wedding photographer, as you know EVERYTHING about the island means something to them. The boat ride on the wooden Grand Craft ferry, the Truman. The Key Deer that roam the property in curiosity. The sounds of the birds basking in the sunshine. The smell and the feel of the air.

This was my first time at Little Palm Island for a wedding, and my first time period. Being someone who loves the outdoors it was just easy! Every view spoke to me. Every corner had endless possibilities.

When you couple the talents of Julie of Simply You Weddings, Rick of Avant Gardens Miami, and the smooth tones of Steve Torrence, THE Key West Officiant, it just becomes a stellar day. An intimate ceremony with lush florals of white hydrangea, sahara roses, white mini callas, Juliet garden roses, white ranunculus & cascading white phalaenopsis orchid all in a large rose gold coppola! The table set carried the same florals, and was decorated with gold. The guests enjoyed the sounds of Chad Burtch and Jeff Clark, while they dined a dusk. You couldn’t ask for a better day! Enjoy and Congrats!

Documentary Destination Wedding Photography

Having a Destination Wedding and are looking for a photographer to document the emotion of your day? In that case, I’d love to talk to you more about your plans. My style of photography is best suited for people who are drawn to natural and honest moments and want their day documented unobtrusively.  If that sounds like what you are looking for, let’s talk! Your wedding photos shouldn’t look like everyone else’s. A documentary approach means photos that are real and true to you and the day that unfolds. Some call it photojournalism, candid, or modern wedding photography. I am not concerned with fitting into a mold or genre, but instead, my wedding photography style is capturing the energy, emotion and love your day entails
Tell me about your favorite coffee shop, how good/bad of a chef you are, your favorite vacation and anything else that makes you unique as a couple. Nobody enjoys filling out contact forms, including me. Drop me a line. No Destination Too Far!
