Key West weddings are special for many reasons. The atmosphere encourages fun times, the foliage of the environment creates beautiful backdrops, and the sunsets are magical. It gives you the canvas to create images that outline your style as a wedding photographer Key West. Couples are drawn to your work, and they want you to create lasting images, while not making it cookie cutter. Thats the challenge I accepted when I became a wedding photographer in Key West.

I have known Tony for a few years. I first met him when I stumbled upon his smoothie shop. During the summer months I would be out on shoots, and with the heat I needed something light for breakfast. I started stopping in at his shop each morning before shoots, and a friendship was born. When Cindy and Tony asked me to be their wedding photographer I was honored.

One of the interesting things about being a wedding photographer, is the different traditions that you get to see at weddings. Cindy showcased many Chinese traditions with cut outs throughout her room getting ready. She had two dresses, one for the ceremony, and a traditional qun kwa (群褂). This was a two-piece loose jacket and skirt in striking red which symbolizes luck and happiness. It was interesting to witness the tea ceremony during the reception, and learn something new. Tony had custom Wrestling Championship belts made for the two of them, which popped out as a surprise during the reception!

We spent a few hours going around Key West with the bridal party. We stopped at a few landmarks before coming back to the ceremony. Cindy and Tony were surrounded by close friends and mainly family. Laughter was abundant, families were joined, and another successful wedding for this wedding photographer in Key West. Thank you for having us as a part of your day!
